Setting your email account on your mobile (Android)

On this tutorial you are going to learn how to add your email account onto your mobile phones email app.

STEP 1. Go to your phone settings

1. On your mobile phone click on Settings
2. Click on Accounts
3. Select Other accounts
4. Click on Add
5. From the options given you need to choose Personal (IMAP)

STEP 2. Add your email address

STEP 3. Add your password

STEP 4. Change the incoming server

By default it will show your domain name on the 'Server' field. You need to change it to mail.hostedemail.com

STEP 5. Change the outgoing server

By default you will see your domain name on the 'SMTP server' field. You need to change it to mail.hostedemail.com

STEP 6. Validating settings

It might take a few minutes for the servers to get validated. Once that's done you would have finished setting up your email address on your mobile phone.

STEP 7. Choosing your preferences

Choose the account options you want, click on Next and you are done.
